Application of Cartridge Heaters

The cartridge heater is small in size and high in power, suitable for heating metal molds. It is usually used in conjunction with a thermocouple for good heating and temperature control.

Cartridge heaters are commonly used in the following areas.

1. In traditional plastic mold or rubber mold

Cartridge heaters are placed inside the metal mold plate to ensure that the plastic and rubber materials in the mold runner are always molten and maintain a relatively uniform temperature.

2. In packing machinery and hot cutter

Insert the cylindrical heating tube into the edge banding mold or the hot cutting knife mold, so that the mold reaches a uniform high temperature, and the material can be melted and bonded as soon as it touches the mold.

3. In meltblown mold

The inside of the melt-blown die head is equipped with a cylindrical heating tube to ensure that the inside of the die head, especially the wire hole position, is in a uniform high temperature state. The material is then melted and sprayed through a wire hole to achieve a uniform density.
